In recent weeks, the information about fauna, flora, and habitats in the Protected Areas has been significantly expanded, with particular attention to the most valuable and threatened species. It is a way to enhance the ecological heritage present in the parks, "champions of biodiversity," as the agency's slogan states.

In the course of 2025, the park rangers of the Protected Areas of the Cozie Alps increased daytime and nighttime monitoring activities regarding fishing in the Natural Park of the Avigliana Lakes, issuing sanctions and carrying out seizures of prohibited equipment. However, beyond the repressive nature of the work carried out, the goal remains the prevention of illegal behaviors to protect those who respect laws and regulations and, above all, to defend a common heritage that belongs to everyone: the environment.
On October 16 and 17, a meeting took place at the headquarters in Salbertrand of the Protected Areas of the Cozie Alps among the partners of the ALCOTRA ACLIMO project, the cross-border initiative Italy-France dedicated to water resource management in times of climate crisis.
